Leap A Head is a mobile puzzle game produced at MassDiGi over May 2017 - August 2017. Jump, slither, a plot your way around the ancient masks in the temple! Find the shortest path to collect coins, avoid nasty obstacles, and complete dozens of levels. Prove your worthiness!

AS LEAD ARTIST
My role on the team was the lead artist. I guided art direction by creating a style guide after a phase of concept and ideation, which defined components of the art style, including sprite style, color palette, and major themes.
Art asset and background creation of shippable quality was my major responsiblity, as well as animation and some UI design later in the production phase.

LEAP A HEAD TRAILER
I was also in charge of creating a trailer for Leap A Head. This trailer was composited in Adobe Premiere Pro with a couple of components done in Adobe Animate. (I contributed to sound design but did not produce the soundtrack.)
GAMEPLAY
Game design and mechanics were developed and refined by all members of the team. Fun discussions and repeated playtesting sessions were held to guide the game's direction.
Our team settled on a unique jumping mechanic - the player, orbiting shapes as a snake, would launch off the shape perpendicular to the shape's side. Earlier levels were built from squares and triangles, but as the player progressed we would start throwing some diamonds and hexagons into the mix!
